I’ve got some Klout. Apparently

I decided to join Klout last week. It’s what all the cool kids are doing and I need to keep up with them.

Klout

At Klout, you’re given a score. Mine is 42 (at the time of writing). 42 what? Don’t know! This is what Klout say their score says:

The Klout Score measures influence based on your ability to drive action. Every time you create content or engage you influence others.

However I’m not totally sure of its use for me and this blog, personally. Saying that, it has given me some funny and strange insights into who I apparently influence and who apparently influences me.

For example, Angel_ite influences me (and vice versa) on topics such as photography, shoes and cats. CATS!? I don’t hate cats, but I’m a dog person!

Oh and Jina influences me about coffee. Can’t say I’m surprised by that one!

There’s more on my profile. I honestly don’t know how a personal blogger who blogs about life in general can use Klout for any real purpose. Or maybe I just haven’t figured it out yet. I see my score going up and down and that’s all I use it for at the moment. Oh and looking at what my friends are influencing me in.

If anyone does know how I can put some of these seemingly random pieces of information to use, let me know!

  1. Hahahaha! Guilty as charged šŸ˜›

I’ve never heard of Klout before. It looks like in interesting service if, like you say, you can figure out how best to use it to your advantage.

  2. Well, I guess at least you can blog about it.

I thought this post was funny, so, you got that out of it at least!

  3. Typography, Television and Android is you for me.

I have no idea what any of this means?
