Yes, I have Europe’s The Final Countdown stuck in my head. See, this time next week I’ll have finished with my current job.
It’s finally starting to sink in but I don’t think it’ll truly feel real until next Friday. I’m filled with weird feelings of nostalgia, fear and excitement. Rolling all of those into one makes for one very confused person! Though all that being said, excitement’s overriding the other two at the moment. Well, fear’s (still) a close second.
It’s the fear of failure. I know I’m not meant to be thinking that way, but I’m only human.
You’ll probably be hearing a lot more from me afterwards, over here. Just want to make you prepared for that!
Let the countdown begin.

Thanks Jaina, without even playing the Youtube video the song is now lodged in my head as well
Fear is good, makes you perform better I think!

It’s my plan
Soon, they’ll be a whole load more people who’ve got it stuck in their heads too!
Fear is definitely a decent motivator!

Hope you’ve not started a revival of Europe!
Feeling quite excited for you, but totally understand your mixture of feelings. Good luck!

Ahah, this is one of my fave songs from the 80s. It’s VERY easy to get stuck in your head! Have a great weekend Jaina.

Have you ever watched Arrested Development? If you haven’t, go watch it. You can thank me later.
Anyway, one of the characters, GOB, is a terrible magician. He insists on playing The Final Countdown during his act. If you ask me, every magician should play that song during their act.
