A week’s worth of May’s “green” photos

2012 Photography Project

One week into May’s “take a photo of something green” and I’ve only missed one day. Not bad, considering my record last month.

Here’s what I’ve done so far. Just wish the weather wasn’t so miserable. More spring weather please!

Tulip

Blades of grass

Hanging

Indoor Green

In between rains

Spiralling down

If you want to see me add the photos as I go, they’ll all be uploaded here.

  1. Lovely photos Jaina. This weekend I’ve been trying to photograph get the birds feeding on the bird feed table but struggling to get perfect focus. It is tough when you’ve got a moving target! πŸ™‚

    • Small, moving targets at that! Love to see what you capture when you snap those quick little things. Setting up a bird feed table is ideal. You should be able to catch them when they’re semi still at some point.

  2. Beautiful! I might have to get your advice some time soon when I get round to purchasing a half decent camera!

  3. Great shots, Jaina! I am loving all the green everywhere now that it’s starting to warm up again. Bring on the summer!

  4. Nice pics Jaina! So much green now that spring is well underway! Looking for more πŸ˜€

  5. Nicely done Jaina.

My wife is a fine art photographer specialising in flower and macro. She will never make it as she cannot get herself out of bed before dawn to get the good shots!!

    You are very talented

    • Aww, thanks Scott!

You know what? I think I’ve managed to get up before dawn a few times to get some snaps of sunrise and the sort and bloody hell it is hard! I sympathise with your wife!

  6. Great Pics as usual Jaina, if it makes you feel any better, it,s been mostly May gray in supposedly sunny So Cal.

  7. Oh my goodness, these are sooo pretty! I’d love to have just an iota of your photographic talent Jaina. Thanks for sharing.

  8. These are beautiful! Really capture the warmth and the green colour that is all around!

  9. Hi Jaina,

passing through ELMASTUDIO coming from their YOKO-Section to find your interesting project. So we share the same passions: Pets (Dogs) and ‘The Photography.’ As a beginner you took some amazing shots and it seems that you got the right view/eye for this. You’re very talented. You’ll never give up!

It’ll be not the last time visiting your lovely place here.
All the best and stay tuned…

    Nicki
