About Me

Born and bred in the UK. I’ve lived/been schooled/worked around London for my whole life. I love the city, but love living far enough away from it that I can escape the madness. I can’t imagine myself moving away from London but I can imagine myself moving to a different country. Don’t try to rationalise that.

What am I doing?

I currently work for an online retailer as a web producer. Want to see what else I do? Check out my portfolio.

What I like

I like techy things. I’m not getting the latest and greatest when they’re out, but I do like my new gadgets. I’m not an Apple fan. It’s not that I’m totally against Apple. It’s just that Apple related products have never had a place in my life. Yes, I have never even owned an iPod.

I’m a dog person. I don’t mind cats, but love the companionship of dogs a lot more. My parents have a dog – Cody. German shepherd and the cutest of the cute. You will not meet a more patient dog. Anyone who’s met her will know why I say this.

I’m getting into photography, in a really amateur way. Bought a DSLR (Nikon D5000) and am gradually learning to use it properly. My photos are sort of everywhere at the moment. Bare with me while I figure out what I’m doing with them. Meanwhile go have a look at my flickr for some phoneography or Google+ Photos for more of the other sort.

You’re likely to find me watching any kind of film. It’s also not so unlikely to be finding me at the cinema at least once a week.

TV Rules My Life (Sometimes)

As TV’s a big part of my life I guess I have to say which shows I love the most, huh? My serious TV addiction started with Buffy the Vampire Slayer – it was when I think i truly entered a ‘fandom’. So obviously I’m a Joss Whedon fan, though definitely not of Dollhouse. My favourite Joss show is probably Angel. Surprised?

Currently watching: The Americans, American Horror Story, Breaking Bad, Community, Episodes, Game of Thrones, Grey’s Anatomy, Homeland, Justified, Mad Men, Masters of Sex, Modern Family, New Girl, Psych, Suits, The Walking Dead.

I think that’s it. I’ll remember a show and add it to the list.
