Why in seven Hells am I still watching Grey’s Anatomy? Genuine question here.
There are so many TV shows I have dropped in the last couple of years without batting an eyelid. And Grey’s Anatomy is
probably definitely the worst TV show I watch at the moment. It’s emotionally manipulative. Completely over dramatic. The story arcs are all completely done. And I’m pretty sure they’ve all been done before in the previous nine seasons. And I could not give two shits about any of the characters left in the show. 2013 will always be the year of the TV show graveyard for me. Is it strange that I’m proud of the amount of TV I dropped in the last year? It felt ridiculously good to let go of so much.
I said farewell to Revenge, True Blood and The New Girl. Started and stopped the UK version of The Bridge – The Tunnel. Gave The Crazy Ones a decent shot, but that got old real quick. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D was just woefully bad and boring and poor. The Blacklist went a little bit too Alias on me a little too quickly. Continue reading →
It’s been a while since I’ve written one of these. Though, I feel I cover my back by saying ‘maybe‘ in the title of these ‘regular‘ posts.
For the past month, or so, I’ve been enjoying working from home, complete with dressing like a total bum. Going to miss that this week. While working at home definitely has its perks, I don’t know how people do it full-time, all the time. It’s tough! Especially living on your own. And oh so easy to fall into bad habits. Going to resent having to get up an hour earlier and pay for my transport to and from work this week. And having to wrap up to face the cold.
