Fantastic Mr. Fox (06/02/10)
All I can think to say is ‘what a cute movie’. Seriously, I thought it was adorable. I loved the stop motion animation and thought the voice casting was brilliant. Though I’ve not read the original book by Roald Dahl and I know there was some fans of the book who weren’t too thrilled with the movie. I liked it, though towards the end I was thinking – ‘Was that the end? Oh wait there’s more’. And somewhere in the middle the movie lost me for a few moments. Ash was brilliant, as was Kristoffersen. Two of my favourites from the movie. The animation just won me over. So entertaining, but not totally what I was expecting.
Rating: 3/5

I absolutely adored the hand made feel of this film. Lately stop-motion has become too sleek as to look CG, it’s good to have a film that wasn’t afraid to look a bit rough.
That was my favourite bit with the movie. It looked like it had some charm and character.
