Inspired by Rachael at Focussed Moments, I sat in front of a rather big bush of sage in my garden, waiting and watching for some bumblebees to come along.
It’s by no means a macro shot. I found it a little hard to track and keep focussed of the fast moving little buggers. But happy with how this one turned out with my 35mm f/1.8 Nikkor lens.
Little buggers indeed. Pretty though!
Hee! Thank you 🙂
Great photograph! I wish I had a garden i could kick my broken computers and just go sit there, looking at nature 🙂
I don’t know what I’d do without my garden to just get away from things at times! Definitely a little sanctuary for me. I’ll happily share mine with you!
Hi. I am glad I inspired you! You got a nice sharp shot here. Well done.
Great focus on the bee and blurred background!
Thank you Lisa 🙂
That’s not bad for a focal range of that size, good focus and bokeh. I had a go at doing macro shots with my 17-40mm f/4 USM L the other week, you may have seen some of them on my goolge+ thing.
I’ll go have a look. This one’s a very close crop. So a bit of a cheat!
beautiful work, as always, Jaina.
Aww, thank you!
You do take awesome pics, kid. 😀
