What does autumn look like in the desert? A lot what you’d think autumn to look like. It just arrives a little later. Doesn’t last as long. And usually has some rain. Except last year.

Autumn weather gets me nostalgic for autumn weather in England. For a moment. After which I’m reminded about how much I prefer the many hours of sunshine I get living in Arizona.

Still, I look forward to autumn every year. Today’s cooler weather reminded me of autumn. Which is why I’m sharing this image today.

And as I type this, I’m mentally preparing myself for summer as I can see temperatures are going to be creeping into the 80s next week.
