Project 365

So long November. You were quieter than October, of which I’m grateful for. After spending a lot of time travelling in October, November’s been very much about being back in the ol’ routine.

But because everything this month has been very much about being back in the old routine, photos this month have been a bit… boring.

Winter in Bahrain means plenty of night-time strolls.

Started the month off in Dubai – which I totally forgot about.

He may be a vegetarian, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t enjoy a good barbecue.

Zoom, zoom, zoom!

Dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel. Took a little bit of time wandering around and taking photos of this monolithic building.

Carving up a storm on Thanksgiving.

Pumpkin pie! First time making it and eating it. All from scratch. Turns out I like making and eating it.

Do I suffer from children or youth?

There’s never a day that goes by that I don’t appreciate the view from the living room.

So, this happened in November. My first football kit. Think I’m officially a Gooner now.

Project 365: 2015

An overly dramatic shot from football on the last Saturday of November. Totally accidental drama.

One of the highlights for November was definitely cooking up a storm on Thanksgiving. It’s been so long since we’ve done the whole cook for a day and feed the masses. Or the few friends that will fit around the table.

December’s going to be a bit more active, with a trip to London for Christmas. I’m looking forward to a little bit of time off in a few weeks time, even if the trip’s going to be pretty full on trying to see as many people as possible.

How’s everyone else’s November been?

A trip to London for Christmas sounds nice. Never done Thanksgiving dinner myself, I’d like to try and make pumpkin pie at some point. Anyway, a good excuse to meet up with family and friends. November wasn’t great as my bike was stolen, luckily my family had an extra I can borrow. I’m joining a book club so hope there’s enthusiasm to keep it going.

    • Pumpkin pie is insanely easy to make – easier than I thought. Tastes great too.

Oh crap, well that sucks! Any chance you getting the bike back? And a book club – very nice! Anything to keep book reading motivation going is a good thing 🙂

I filled out a missing bike form at the police, maybe it will turn up. Oh, and I bought an extra lock for the replacement bike. Looks like we will go with short stories for the book club.
