Ancient, old, and new all in one single view. Beirut’s skyline is like no other city I’ve visited. You do yourself a disservice if you don’t spend the entire time looking up. (Though that may also mean you step in one or two dog turds!)

Just outside The National Museum of Beirut, we were stuck waiting for the rain to die down before making a break for it and walking to wherever we were headed. (Probably falafel!)
