Taken just three hours before the photo I shared previously, facing a similar direction, you can see what a fairly light dust storm (or Haboob) looks like in Bahrain.

The buildings fade into the distance. The colour palette is totally muted. Even those almost bright pink buildings look a bit more… normal.

I can almost smell the air and feel the air on my skin just looking at this image. Two words come to mind: Earthy and close.
