Just like that, June is over. I think you can call me settled in my new home. Definitely settled. Got my daily routine going. Even managing to inject some exercise in every day.
What was I up to in June? Well, there were a couple of trips to the cinema to see
X-Men: Days of Future Past and How to Train Your Dragon 2. By the looks of my photos, I did a lot of eating. Caught the dreaded lurgy from the OH. Started and am now steam rolling through a rewatch of Battlestar Galactica. Well, rewatch for me, but first time watch for the OH. Which is the sole reason of the rewatch!
My old lunch time routine – walk around the block to get some air.
One amazing looking hotel.
One of the most striking sunrises I have every captured.
Enjoying some cocktails at Nightjar
Currently reading It. And still reading it.
Looking over the garden, where I used to live.
Oh look, it’s another one of my commute!
Ha! Cody. With a tea towel on her head. Because, why not?
The every day commute, that I no longer will be doing
Winter sunsets – I’ll miss those.
India – what an amazing holiday.
Ahhh… the daily commute on the tube! Not missing that.
Can you believe we’re, pretty much, half way through 2014 already?
Unbelievable. The year has flown by. Despite the laws of physics telling me that no such thing can actually happen.
Thought it was a good time to stop and take a look back at my
365 project so far this year.

Day 126: Getting rained on on my way home. This is becoming the norm.
Day 127: Going to miss the green when I move to Bahrain.

Hello May! And goodbye. May has been an epic month for me. That’s putting it mildly I guess. A lot of the month was spent prepping for my big move to Bahrain. And then, I was here!
Day 88 All in a row.
Day 89 Tunnel vision.
Day 92 A trip to the countryside and a good long walk with a stop over at a very interesting looking little church.
Day 93 Finally catching up with the #TrueDetective finale. Holy balls.
Day 94 I forgot. Again. I had some good news and all the good news just wiped me out. Good night!
Day 95 Great Portland Street Station, you are rather gross sometimes.
Day 96 Group photo for work!
Day 97 Dinner at Canteen, on South Bank, and a catch up.
Day 98 Sunny, sunny spring day.
Day 101 I predict this path will remain like this for the next month. With nothing happening around it.
Day 103 Don’t ask. I saw it and thought, that might look good in my 365.
Day 104 Ahh, the view from the fire escape at work. And what a wonderful view it is.
Day 105 Filmage (Amazing Spidey 2) followed by a Byron Burger. Chilled start to the bank holiday weekend.
Day 106 A cup of chai and House of Cards. Nice.
Day 107 Ahh the typical Bank Holiday weekend in England – rain!
Day 110 Currently reading Stephen King’s It.
Day 111 Clouds are looking a wee bit ominous this evening.
Day 112 It’s Friday night and that means one thing – TV vegging in nigh.
Day 113 Getting my baking on with some banana and peanut butter muffins.
Day 114 Every single avocado decided to ripen at the same time. Thank you avocado gods. So an unholy amount of guacamole was made.
Day 115 It’s a jungle out there. Out there being my garden. Jungle being… this mess of grass.
Day 116 Saw a magpie acting suspiciously from the study window. Went out to take a look what it was doing. Looks like it was eating someone’s baby :(
Day 117 Look what I found in the garden today! Totally forgot there was some asparagus planted back there.
April was a terrible month. Terrible in the sense that out of the 30 days there are in the month,
I only managed to take 24 days of photos. SHAME!
Not all that exciting though. Did go to the countryside to visit
Ken the curmudgeon. But the rest of the month was just of the day-to-day variety.
One other exciting thing was my an update to my phone’s camera app. So now everything will have lens blur. Apologies.
Day 59 Room w/a view.
Day 60 Wedding festivities are well underway.
Day 61 The happy day!
Day 62 And it all went far too quickly. Already the last night :(
Day 63 After a few busy, eventful days, it’s nice to be home with a cup of coffee and some dark chocolate Hobnobs.
Day 64 Breakfast at Saffron. My favourite.
Day 65 Friday evening mayhem at the Souk in Bahrain.
Day 66 Eventful day leads to us looking around at potential car replacements. (We had a bit of a prang!) This is just an unrealistic pipe dream, but … we’re allowed those.
Day 67 Last day in Bahrain, but it was perfect. Go-karting!
Day 68 On my way back to England. Big ol’ sadface.
Day 69 And all of a sudden, it’s back to the day-to-day routine. The holiday feels like such a long time ago.
Day 70 It appears, since I’ve been away, Spring has arrived in England.
Day 71 Lunch and a wander.
Day 72 I’m usually pretty good with the unpacking. Not this time. 1 week later and I’ve finally knuckled down and unpacked.
Day 73 Lunch and a stroll in Windsor. Could get used to this Spring malarkey weather.
Day 74 Really very pretty sky in the evening.
Day 75 Just out at lunch.
Day 78 The view from the office fire escape…
Day 80 Cook something you’ve never cooked with before, he said. So I did. Cavalo nero being that thing I’ve never cooked with before. And funnily enough, here’s a minestrone soup – something i’ve never cooked before either!
Day 81 All of a sudden, there was Yoshi.
Day 82 A little bit of spring colour.
Day 83 Ahh… suburbia!
Day 84 Enjoying a bit of old man Port.
Day 85 Dear Chucks, why do you hate me so?
Day 86 Time thievery occurring!
Day 87 What can I say? I forgot.
March started off fantastically. Nearly two weeks out of the country, on holiday. First, a few days in India for a fantastic wedding. Followed by a few days in
Bahrain with the OH. The rest of March really couldn’t compare.
Fairly pleased with my first 3 months of
Project 365. Though, definitely skipped more days in March. It couldn’t be helped. Well, no it could. I’m just making excuses.
