Check me out – second month of Project 365 down and still going strong. Sort of. Again, I missed/forgot a couple of days here and there. But, it’s not a biggie.
Despite February being a short month, especially compared to the mammoth January, it felt like it went by far too slowly. I know why. It’s because I had something amazing to look forward to in March – holiday! (Which is why this month recap for February’s 365 photos are a little late.)
Only three photos taken on my camera. Everything else, phone photo. Thing is, I’m getting increasingly frustrated with the camera on my phone. It’s fine, 60% of the time. But if you ever dare try to take a photo where the conditions aren’t perfect, well, you’re going to get such an awful photo. Ho well. Least this is something I know and try to avoid.
Project 365: 2014 – Day 33 I couldn’t resist another shot of her.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Thirty Four I do like my Nexus 4. A lot. Call me a Google Fangirl. I am. But the camera is just a wee bit useless sometimes. Especially in the dark. Though, it’s not done to bad a job here. Nearly home from my evening commute.
Project 365: 2014 – Day 35 Been a while since food was the subject of a day. Perfect excuse for food today then.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Thirty Six Working from home thanks to the tube strike effecting London today. And tomorrow. Part of me is a little bit glad to be stuck at home. The weather outside is … frightful!
Project 365: 2014 – Day 37 Day 2 of working from home due to TFL’s tube strike. Going to miss not working from home tomorrow. But then again, it’s FRIDAY.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Thirty Eight My foray into the world of DE razors starts here. Well, my sample pack of blades have arrived at least.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Thirty Nine Technically I didn’t take this photo. But it is me. Start of wedding celebrations and a lot of fun was had. Danced as well as I could, occasionally almost tripping on my outfit.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Thirty Forty One Looking back at past 365 attempts and reminded of a month I spent taking photos of my feet. More interesting than it sounds!
Project 365: 2014 – Day Forty Two The previous day was not a good cooking day. In fact dinner was a disaster. Thankfully it all balanced out today, using previous day’s leftovers for a pretty stonking beef stir fry. Woo!
Project 365: 2014 – Day Forty Two Sunrise this morning on my way to work. Beautiful! The weather was all downhill from here though.
Project 365: 2014 – Day 43 Totally lazy evening at the end of a day where I forgot to think about taking a photo.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Forty Four Friday night, heading home, weekend to look forward to.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Forty Six Completely lazy weekend spent doing nothing more than being lazy. Oh… and getting a haircut and avoiding the horrible weather outside.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Forty Seven Counting down the days until holiday time next week.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Forty Eight Made a mental note to take a photo of the BT Tower, or whatever it’s called now, on my way to or from work. Still a pretty impressive looking thing. On the way home, I’m in a mad rush to get my train, so morning time shot will have to do.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Forty Nine The rather grand looking Grange Langham Court Hotel, just around the corner from me at work. Definitely stands out.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Fifty Some days the commute home goes smoothly. Other days, it runs just short of smoothly.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Fifty One Taking advantage of the weather with a little walk around during my lunch break.
Project 365: 2014 – Day 52 Out for some birthday drinks. This here gin concoction was by far my favourite of the night.
Project 365: 2014 – Day 53 Packing for holiday at the end of the week has begun. And not finished.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Fifty Five It’s been a while since Cody’s featured in one of my 365 photos again. About time, and other?
Project 365: 2014 – Day Fifty Six It’s nearly March. Days are getting longer. It’s starting to look a little like spring.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Fifty Seven Always miss the sunset on my way back home from work. This is as close as I get.
Project 365: 2014 – Day Fifty Eight Let the holidays begin!
Good job, going strong! Like I said on Flickr, I like the bldg with the black and white stone/brick front. Nice patterns. And yes, completely agree that the phone is only good when conditions are perfect, like outside. Not too sunny.
WOW. Once again you have a fantastic eye. I think the Cutting Corner shot is my favorite. Something about it just keeps me staring at it.
Cheers, Keith! 😀
Good for you! I did a 365, way back in 2009. Hated it by the end but afterwards I was glad I’d done it. Not beating yourself up about missing the odd day is definitely the way to go.
It’s getting trickier. I just plain forget some days. And it’s not as if the day has been wasted. I’m usually too busy enjoying something or another!
