Those of you in lovely ol’ Blighty, remember a few weeks ago when we had a summer? Yeah, it’s a fuzzy memory to me too. But managed to fish out some photos I took from that weekend when me, the brother and Cody went to Virginia Water. Which has now become one of my favourite places to go for a bit of nice fresh air and some green.

My brother and Cody. Taking a little break by a pond. Don’t think Cody’s tongue could hang out any more.
Now these photos were taken on another morning spent at Virginia Water. Cody doing what she loves doing – bounding after balls.
I want to go back there and instead of just taking photos on the fly, maybe put a bit more thought into them. When the weather finally resembles summer again. Bloody English weather.
Very nice. Love the one of Cody coming at you with a ball. Virginia Water is not far from me. And even closer to my college, Royal Holloway.
Thank you π
Virginia Water’s a beautiful place – even when the weather’s a bit drab, it was a nice place to walk around.
Cody’s gorgeous! Love Virginia Water, don’t live too far from it but don’t go there often. Might make it a possible new jogging spot!
She is gorgeous – I totally agree π
It’s a popular place for joggers. And cyclists. 10km round trip around the lake. That sounds a lot longer when I write than when I say it. It doesn’t feel that long when you’re walking it!
Your pictures are simply breathtaking… and so is Cody!! I’m living vicariously thru’ you girl.
Aww thank you Ruth. Wish I still had Cody in this country so I’d have an excuse to go back there.
I love your photos always Jaina! And Cody looks great. my boy, Ryker, has something goin on but the vet doesn’t know what it is yet…I’m a little concerned but remain optimistic.
Oh no π Sorry to hear that. Have my fingers crossed for your Ryker. It’s always a worry when there’s something wrong with our four legged friends – they can’t tell us what it is! At the moment Cody’s on about 3 different types of medication as she might have some sort of auto-immune problem. Took us about 9 months to get to this point though!
Seriously, you always take the best pics, Jaina.
Pretty scenery too, that’s a really nice area…
Cheers Dan! Really appreciate the lovely comment π Gives me a good boost.
Tis a very nice area. It’s the queen’s back garden. Sorta…
Looks a lovely place to go for walkies!! Cody did well to find the ball in that long grass. Dolly is shocking at finding the ball.
Nice!
It’s an awesome place for walkies. There are lovely bits of wooded areas. Wide paths. Big open spaces. Even when it’s busy, you’ll always find a little empty spot. Lots of dogs! Which proved a little tricky for us and our dog hating dog!
Cody’s not the best at finding the ball either! Sometimes you’ll have it behind your back and she’ll be looking high and low for it. Gotta love dappy dogs!
Great photos — love the waterfall pic, especially! Looks like a beautiful park.
Cheer Eric! It’s a lovely park. One I’ll go to more often now.
Awesome pics Jaina, but if its 30 degrees wouldn’t that be really cold ? π
Always get one trying to be smart. We do things a different way this side of the pond – Celsius!
i love beautiful places to walk, especially those that allow dogs! cody peaking up through high grass is soo soo cute!
She was having a very good bound through the look grass. A bit like Bambi!
