On the one hand, it’s hard not to love a sea view. Which was actually the view through another set of windows from this same apartment. But this view—the rooftops of villa upon villa—was my favourite from this apartment.

Every villa looking a little bit similar but also completely different. This image does a really good job of illustrating just how packed in those villas are—shoulder-to-shoulder.

Looking back at this image, it also reminds me how lucky we were. To have not just a clear sea view, but this view, too. And neither of them obscured by towering apartment blocks.
