Sunset in a mining town

Clifton, Arizona. A tiny little town with a population of around 3,700. Just a stop along the way—or more accurately—the start of a fun “little” drive. An interesting, and dare I say it, eye-opening town for this Brit who’s really not seen a lot of the US.

It was dead quiet. But cars and other vehicles were making their way through the town. There were people at local restaurants and bars. But… just a handful of those were even open.

There’s small town, isolated English villages and towns. And then there’s small town, waaay out there little towns in the US—it’s a whole other level.
